Join us in celebrating the 17th Annual Frida Festival curated by Lizbeth Ortiz and this year hosted at MECA East End! (formerly TBH)
Since 2005 we have been gathering to celebrate the legacy and inspiration of Frida Kahlo. This year MECA East End (formerly TBH) will host the visual art exhibit during the month of April and a two-day festival with music, performances, a Frida-inspired fashion show, vendors, and food trucks.

Frida en Primavera Fashion Show
Friday, April 8, 7 pm – 9 pm
An evening inspired by Frida’s love for culture, art, and fashion. Throughout this special evening, guests will have the opportunity to shop from a selection of original, handmade accessories and designs from local and international designers. There will be a special performance by MECA Ballet Folklórico. Proceeds from the Frida en Primavera Fashion Show will benefit MECA.

The Frida Festival aims to unite the community through creative expression by collaborating with local artists, organizations and businesses to celebrate the life of one of Latin America’s most highly respected visual artists – Frida Kahlo. This FREE festival was established as a celebration of Frida’s life, art and passions. The 17th Annual Frida Festival celebrations will showcase our diverse community talents in art, music, dance, and other forms of artistic expression.
